Cannes film festival is here again. All fashion gurus are out on a hunt for the best dressed stars on the red carpet. However, they seem to be quick in forgetting what happened the previous years, and comparisons are usually out of the scope of most online media. So, I decided to play a bit and check out whether our most favorite stars performed better in 2013 as compared to 2012.
Red and white seem to be Cheryl’s colors. The saying ‘same but different’ perfectly describes the two outfits.

Eva Longoria seems to be “desperate” for dresses with long tails. Same silhouette, same color palette. I wonder if she can do any different?

Talking about different, Nicole Kidman is on the opposite side of the specturm: she can wear so versatile outfits and look gorgeous in each of them. Respect!

And since we are on the subject of beautiful gowns, I cannot help myself but share these budget evening dresses with you. There is nothing better than a great design at a reasonable price point. And with the wedding season that is knocking on the door, an elegant gown (or two) that won’t get you broke is a must. Inspired by the looks of both Cheryl Cole and Nicole Kidman on the previous two Cannes awards, I would definitely go for something long and red as this gorgeous evening dress…
or something shorter and white like this playful cocktail dress here.
