Best and worst at Met Gala 2013

Met Gala 2013 went under the motto ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’. And looking at the outfits on the red carpet, it is impossible to judge whether it was more of a chaos or more of a couture. Here’re my picks of best and worst dressed celebrities during the event.

BEST DRESSED

Class meets class! The dress is amazing a la Valentino style, sheer just enough to tickle the imagination.

Anne Hathaway in Valentino

I seriously like the neck-piece of the dress and the optical slimming effect of the triangles on both sides.

Taylor Swift in J. Mendel

Very fresh with a slight retro touch. Although the patterns are big they do not overwhelm the eye, which makes the dress actually look delicate yet bold.

Hailee Steinfeld in Donna Karan Atelier

Blake is always among my favorites. Blake in Gucci Première even more so. I think you can easily guess why.

WORST DRESSED

Morgan Saylor obviously has something for lipsticks. However she maybe forgot that she is not starring in a M.A.C. commercial.

No comments here. But the little mermaid can easily commit suicide after this explosion of neon yellow. Sorry, mermaid, sometimes people just seem to misinterpret your style.

I am on a love-hate relationship with this dress. I actually like the cut, but to me it seems a bit too much styled with these pins. So, lose the pins, Giovanna, and I upgrade the cathegory.
