The moment I set my foot in London, I was obsessed with only one thought: to check Jamie Oliver’s restaurant. Given the latest hype around Jamie and everything he does (if you are not sure what exactly I am talking about, go on and check here), I expected it to be almost mission-impossible to find a table in any of his restaurants. But surprise, surprise: Jamie’s Italian in Westfields was waiting for me with a perfect table in the right moment. What should I say, I was born lucky!
Having heard a lot of mixed opinions about the food, the service, and the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they all were keeping high level. This however didn’t have an impact on the prices which were typical for London. And instead of writing long and elaborate sentences about the place, let me phrase it like this: I actually liked the mushrooms and I am everything else but a mushroom lover. You make your own conclusions!
Oh, and one last thing: this guy definitely knows how to hook customers! You may think that a restaurant is (by definition) a place to serve food, but in Jamie’s Italian you can also buy anything that bears the brand Jamie Oliver. How cool is that?
