Plaid is like the fast lane down that memory boulevard. Show me checks and I instantly turn into a five year old girl with Pippi braids and a stocking pulled halfway up. I asked the husband if he gets the same feeling when he sees tartan. He said he never wore braids, he preferred shorter hairstyles. So he couldn’t really come in my position.
